TV Mounting & Wall Installation in Melbourne
Wall-mounted TVs with hidden cabling, floating appearance and clean power and data points — for plaster and masonry walls alike.
Wall Mount Brackets
We supply and install fixed, tilting and full-motion wall mount brackets for every screen size — from compact 32" displays to oversized 85" models.
The bracket is chosen to match your wall type, TV weight and viewing angle. Fixed mounts give the lowest-profile floating look. Tilting mounts angle the screen down from higher positions. Full-motion articulating brackets pull the screen out for side viewing and tuck back flush.
Floating Appearance — Plaster Walls
For plaster (gib/plasterboard) walls, we achieve the clean floating look by routing all cabling behind the wall. Power cables, HDMI runs, and data cables are fed through wall cavities and emerge at discreet points behind the TV.
We install a flush-mounted power point and data point directly behind the TV position so no external cables are visible. The result is a screen that looks like it's floating on the wall with zero trailing wires.
Where wall cavities aren't available we use surface-mounted trunking in a matching colour that sits flush to the wall and blends in.
Clean Ductwork — Masonry Walls
Masonry walls (brick, concrete, blockwork) present different challenges — you can't chase cables behind the surface the same way. We use neat white surface duct (trunking) that runs from the power and data source to the TV position.
The duct is routed along existing lines and corners wherever possible — skirting, door frames, room corners — to keep it visually discreet. It's secured with purpose-made fixings and gives a clean, finished look that's far better than exposed cables.
Socket Outlets, Data Points & TV Points
A proper TV installation needs more than just a power point. We install the full suite of wall connections:
- Power point (GPO) — for the TV, soundbar and streaming devices
- Data point (CAT6/CAT6A) — hardwired internet for streaming, gaming consoles and NBN connectivity
- TV coaxial point — for cable TV, Foxtel or satellite set-top boxes
All points are positioned behind or beside the TV so plugs and connectors are hidden. We use low-profile faceplates that sit flush with the wall for a tidy finish.
